52-Point Checklist


Affordable Cleaning Service’s Point Checklist is all about you: your home, your service, and your priorities. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, floors and dusting, and on every cleaning; we'll make sure that those areas shine. The rest of your service is up to you: pick the living areas on which you want us to focus first and we'll work through all areas of your home according to your priority. We work with our weekly, bi-weekly and monthly clients to ensure that your "trouble spots" are clean. (First-time cleanings may require more time. Please contact your local office to discuss any special needs.)

Bathrooms

  • Sinks thoroughly rinsed, cleaned and sanitized
  • Countertops and backsplashes cleaned
  • Chrome fixtures cleaned and shined
  • Tub and/or shower tiles thoroughly rinsed, cleaned and sanitized
  • Toilets disinfected inside and out, including base and behind
  • Vanity top dusted and cleaned (more time may be required to remove and replace items on top)
  • Towels changed (only if left out)
  • Mirrors cleaned
  • Windowsills wiped down
  • Baseboards dusted
  • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, doorframes and switch plates
  • Cobwebs removed
  • Vacuum and/or wash floor
  • Trash emptied and bins disinfected

Kitchen

  • Sinks scrubbed, cleaned and sanitized
  • Countertops and backsplash cleaned (all items removed and replaced)
  • Cabinet fronts washed or dusted
  • Vacuum, wash, and shine floors
  • Small appliances wiped
  • Exterior of large appliances (microwave, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, stovetop) cleaned, (interior cleaned upon request-please ask for details)
  • Windowsills cleaned
  • Baseboards dusted
  • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, doorframes and switch plates
  • Cobwebs removed
  • Wash or dust table and chairs
  • Dishes washed (please set up procedure with your local AMS office)
  • Trash emptied and bins disinfected

Bedrooms

  • Carpets vacuumed & under bed (if accessible)
  • Beds made
  • Linens changed (if left out- notify AMS office if more than one linen change is needed)
  • All areas dusted- on top, on front and underneath ( all items removed and replace- more time may be required if there are lots of knickknacks)
  • Picture frames dusted
  • Mirrors cleaned
  • Windowsills wiped down
  • Baseboards dusted
  • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, doorframes and switch plates
  • Cobwebs removed
  • Lampshades wiped down or dusted
  • Light, general straightening completed
  • Trash emptied and bins disinfected

Other Living Areas, including Foyer and Stairs

  • All areas dusted- on top, on front and underneath (all items removed and replaced- more time may be required if there are lots of knickknacks)
  • Hardwood or tile floors damp-mopped
  • Carpeted floors and upholstered furniture vacuumed
  • Cushions and pillows fluffed and straightened
  • Picture frames dusted
  • Windowsills wiped down
  • Baseboards dusted
  • Fingerprints removed from all woodwork, doorframes and switch plates
  • Cobwebs removed
  • Lamp shades wiped down or dusted
  • Glass tables cleaned
  • Light, general straightening completed
